IDEAS Inc. offers on demand training in Business, Interpretation and Translation, Finance, Tourism, Trade. Our team also assists its clients in setting up joint ventures, establishing tourism offices and tourism related products and in creating translation and interpretation schools.

LANGUAGE SERVICES

IDEAS Inc. offers a vast array of language services which includes among others, translation, interpretation, editing, production of documentaries in several languages. In the past three decades IDEAS Inc. has offered these services in over one hundred languages.

Dr. Marilyn Sephocle

President and CEO

Dr. Marilyn Sephocle is the President and CEO of IDEAS Inc. She holds a Master's degree in German Studies from New York University, a Master in Business Administration from Howard University, a Master in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in German studies from New York University. A polyglot who speaks nine languages, Dr. Sephocle has assisted several governments in improving their trade relations with the United States. She has also contributed to draft public policies and programs for countries in the areas of trade, tourism, languages services, diversity.

Roderick Shaw

Vice President for Finance

Mr. Roderick Shaw obtained his Master in Business Administration from Notre Dame University. He also pursued a Ph.D. in economics from Notre Dame University. His areas of expertise are Finance, privatization, oil and gas, mining. An economic advisor to US governors and mayors, Roderick Shaw is a world renown expert on development. He has worked on development in the area of tourism in Ecuador, Martinique, Costa Rica and Ivory Coast.

Dexter Cummings

Legal Advisor

Mr. Dexter Cummings obtained his Juris Doctorate of Law from the Howard University School of Law. An entrepreneurial domestic and international advisor, Mr. Cummings has provided legal, management and team building skills to improve and develop sustainable socially impactful economic development solutions (e.g. STEM education, NBA Africa , an urban $200M aquaculture project). His core skills include: Corporate Law & Governance, Intellectual Property, Privacy & Data Protection, Regulatory Compliance - Corporate, Healthcare, & Nonprofit, Complex Transactions, Economic Development

Sarah Smith and Gwen Jackson

Ms. Sarah Smith (right) is one of our coordinators. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She joined IDEAS Inc. in 2018. She is responsible for scheduling and several aspects of programming. Ms. Gwen Jackson (left) obtained her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Howard University. She joined IDEAS Inc. in 2017. She is responsible for scheduling and aspects of programming.
